Immediate Past President Chief Greg Harrington

Immediate Past President Greg Harrington began his 30-year law enforcement career after a 4-year enlistment in the US Air Force where he served 1 year in Viet Nam. President Harrington has worked for several North Carolina Police Departments and was hired as Police Chief in Wake Forrest in October 1993, where he currently serves in that capacity.

In 1979 President Harrington received the first Criminal Justice Degree from Elizabeth City State University and he received his Associates Degree from Beaufort Technical Community College in 1975. President Harrington attended the 169^th Session of the FBI National Academy and is a Past President of the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police.
