SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS The first annual FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. North Carolina Chapter Education Scholarship was awarded to Brittany Williamson on June 17, 2008. Brittany is the daughter of Marshall Williamson, who attended the 209th Session. General News Items: Election News: Elections were held during the business meeting at the 2007 Summer Conference in Wrightsville Beach on June 19, 2007. The following members were elected to serve in the following positions with terms beginning January 1, 2008: Mike Adams - Secretary/Treasurer Candidates for the FBI National Academy- The height/weight requirements to attend the Academy are being strictly adhered to. If your department is considering someone as a candidate it is very important that this person currently be at the height/weight that is required at the time of application. If a candidate fails to meet these requirements, it could result in North Carolina losing a slot in upcoming sessions.
